Common questions

I missed a day. Have I lost my progress?

No. Nothing breaks. There is no streak to lose and nothing to make up: your journey simply waits for you, and today's puzzle is there whenever you are. With the Journey Pass, every past day stays open too.

How do I restore the Journey Pass on a new phone?

Open Settings → Restore purchase, signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. The Journey Pass and your other one-time purchases come back.

How do I redeem a gift code?

Open Settings → Redeem a gift code and type in the code. A code can be redeemed once, and it expires two years after it was bought. To give one, choose Settings → Give a gift.

How do I make everything go quiet?

Open Settings → Pause my journey. From there you can:

• Pause notifications. Nothing is sent until you turn reminders back on.
• Hide week tracking. The week number and the countdown disappear. The puzzles remain.
• Delete everything, if you'd like to (see below).

Your scrapbook stays yours.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings → Pause my journey → Delete everything. After one confirmation, your due date, puzzles, journal and scrapbook are removed from your phone. When your phone is next online, it also asks our server to delete anything linked to you, including a kept copy. This cannot be undone. Purchases stay in your Apple Account's purchase history, which Apple controls.

Can I keep a copy of my scrapbook if I change phones?

Yes, if you'd like to. Turn on Settings → Keep a copy safe and sign in with Apple. Your copy is encrypted on your phone before it leaves, and it never includes your due date. You can turn it off at any time, which deletes the copy.

Can I change the daily reminder?

Yes. Settings → Daily reminder turns it on or off and sets the time. There is never more than one a day.
